![]() November 2nd, 2007 - Great turnouts for Halloween gigs! We had awesome turn out at both Halloween gigs (Saturday, October 27th at Simon's in Hermann, MO and Saturday, November 2nd at The Hub in St. Clement, MO). There was literally standing room only at Simon's from the get go and the crowd stayed until the very end. The Hermann police were there to assist when a couple of fights broke out (ROCK N' ROLL!). Our hats off to them! The turn out at The Hub was great too! We had a head count of about 185 at one point and at least 60% of them were wearing costumes. A big congratulations to Shrek & Princess Fiona who won BEST costume! A huge thanks to everyone who came out including all of the scantily clad hotties! August 10th, 2007 - It's official Whiskey Tango fans... we have a new bass player. Some of you may have already met him as he's been filling in for us on gigs since Donnie's departure in June. He's Dean Adkins. Dean is a well seasoned guitar player and also plays bass so we get the best of both worlds. You'll be hearing some new songs out of us as Dean has lots up his sleeve. Please welcome him to the Whiskey Tango family as only our fans can!
February 26th, 2007 -
Whiskey Tango is on MySpace!
I'm
not sure we've ever posted it, but Whiskey Tango does have a MySpace
page. You can find us at... Get on MySpace and send us a Friends Request! You have to register in order to view our photos, videos, send us messages, etc. but it's quick and easy. January 30th, 2007 - What was, now is again... The tag line may be confusing, so let us clarify a bit, shall we? Whiskey Tango is going through a lineup change. Yes, it is now official. Cole Chambers is no longer playing bass with Whiskey Tango. As you recall, Cole came in when Donnie Simpson (our original bass player and one of the founding members of Whiskey Tango) left a little over a year and a half ago. Donnie had a lot going on in his life and he wanted some time to take care of those obligations. Cole managed to fill some pretty big shoes, and he did well. But, over the last 6 months we could tell Cole wasn't happy. As our fans know, we don't want anyone in the band that isn't going to be happy, so we mutually agreed that it was in his best interest to find his happiness. Our split was completely amicable and we wish Cole all the best. So, who is going to be filling in the duties of bass and vocals? Well, Mr. Donnie Simpson of course. Yes, ladies and gentleman, HE'S BACK! When we first started thinking about how we'd go about replacing Cole our initial and immediate reaction was to see if Donnie wanted to join the band that he helped establish almost 8 years ago. From his own lips, "I'm honored that you thought of me first". We're glad he joins us once again. At our first practice this last weekend, the original energy was back. We were having fun again, and it felt great! So, what can you expect in the coming months? We're dusting off some of the tunes that we played in the beginning years, we're polishing up some of the tunes from recent years, we're looking at some new tunes on the radio now (think Seether, Shinedown, Wolfmother, etc.), AND WE'RE WORKING ON A CD OF ALL NEW ORIGINAL MATERIAL!!! Yeah, we've said it before, but the creative energy is back and we're not going to lose it. We're already booking 2007 dates around the Midwest and hope the extended break has got you ready for rockin' with the newly original Whiskey Tango! So once again we say… what was, now is again. The Original and
Founding Members of Whiskey Tango August 7, 2006 - Wolfman Mended... Randy "Wolfman" Wilson wanted us to update the site to let everyone know that he's pretty much mended from his operation. He continues to get better and is already back at the helm of helping us setup and teardown. He wanted to express his thanks to everyone who has supported him and his family. It's good to have you back Wolfman! May 1st, 2006 - A BIG THANKS! ... We wanted to give a HUGE THANKS to everyone who came out to support the Benefit for Wolfman on April 22nd. We raised close to $1,200 to help Randy and Charelle with the medical costs from Randy's hip surgery. The crowd was great, the sound was phenomenal, and we even unleashed a new tune or two on the crowd. The Pink Floyd was an especially big hit! We know our fans are the best, and you prove it time and time again. RAAAWWWWCK!!!!! April 3rd, 2006 - BENEFIT FOR THE WOLFMAN... Randy is out of the hospital after surgery on his left hip. He has metal plates and pins and a nice scar with 35 staples to show for his efforts! We stopped in on him on our way to Saturday's show at The Glass Door. He was up and doing well. We know he'll make a speedy recovery. However, the bills are going to keep coming while he's out of commission, so we want to remind everyone about the benefit that we have scheduled at THE AMVETS BAR in Auxvasse, MO on Saturday, April 22nd from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Please come and support one of our own and make contributions as you can. As we’ve said, the recovery process will take a while, and every little bit will help. Please let your friends and family know of the benefit date. If you would like to help promote the benefit, you can download a promotional flyer by click on the link below. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view and print the flyer. March, 22nd 2006 - NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS… Wolfman, or Mr. Randy Wilson (our roadie, security, and all around compadre) had a little accident this past week and has cracked his left hip in 3 places. We went up to see him at University Hospital in Columbia, MO yesterday (he’s in room 31 on floor 5E for those who want to visit). Other than having to stay doped up on morphine and percocets, he’s in good spirits. He’s in traction until Monday when the doctors will operate and take care of the breaks. It’ll be a long recovery after that, and we know we’ll have to keep him in check because it’s going to be difficult confining him to a bed. Please send him and his family best wishes for a speedy recovery. July 24th, 2005 - DONNIE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING... Actually, Donnie has left the building and Whiskey Tango. We want to wish him all the best in his musical endeavors. It has been a great 6 year run with virtually the same lineup in Whiskey Tango. However, WT will endure with Cole Chambers as Donnie's replacement. We're already getting Cole officially initiated into the WT clan. Our first gig last weekend at The Hub got pretty rockin' at the end of the night. Everyone from the Pike County Fair heard we were playing and decided to drop in on us at the end of the night. It made for a VERY WILD last set. We appreciate everyone who came out to welcome us back to St. Clement, and to those who helped welcome Cole to the band. July 10th, 2005 - THE BLUE NOTE SHOW WAS AWESOME!!! From everyone we've talked to, we'd have to say the Blue Note show was a great success! Man, the sound quality was awesome. Some of our fans said that it was the best we had ever sounded! That's a huge compliment and it makes us want to continue pursuing the dream. A huge HATS OFF and THANKS! to RENEGADE RAIL for having us open for them. They were GREAT! If you get a chance to hear them, DO IT!!! June 20th, 2005 - We have several things that we need to tell you about coming up this weekend and in the coming weeks, so here we go. First and foremost… we wanted to thank David Fox for having us at his annual father’s day bash this past weekend. There was a great crowd, lots of food, and everyone was having a fun time. It was one of the best private parties we’ve every played. Let’s do it again next year! Next, we wanted to remind everyone of the Auxvasse Park Improvement Benefit that we’ll be playing this Saturday night, June 25th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This is an early show for us, and a family oriented performance, so bring the kids and everyone else to join us for this great cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards park improvements in Auxvasse. There will be raffles for many items donated by local businesses and should be a great time. HAVE WE ARRIVED? Many people in the Columbia area say that you’ve arrived as a band if you play The Blue Note in Columbia After all, many of the most famous bands and musicians in the world have graced the stage at the Blue Note. For local bands, if you get booked it’s usually opening for another band, and hopefully you get asked back to play again. Well, we guess we’ve arrived then… we got the call today to open up for an up and coming hot country/rock band called Renegade Rail on Friday, July 8th at 9:00 p.m. According to the press from their website, these guys are destined to be the next big thing in country music. So, why are we opening for a country band? Well, that’s kind of what we thought when we were asked. However, most of us have seen/heard the line between “new” country music and rock blur over the past several years. With bands like Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, etc. it’s very apparent that these bands are pretty much rocked oriented with a country flavor. It appears that Renegade Rail falls into this category, and face it, some of our cover songs aren’t so far from that genre either. However, don’t think that we’ll only play southern style rock. We’ll do some of our originals and some of our best rockin’ cover tunes. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU, OUR FANS… Whiskey Tango probably won’t get this opportunity too many times, so we’d really like to see as many of our fans there as possible. We don’t want to be treated like we’re an opening band. We want Renegade Rail to wonder why there are so many people there to see Whiskey Tango. So, put the date on your calendar and bring your friends and family to this once in a lifetime event. We should hit the stage about 9:30 p.m., but don’t be late, as we’re only playing an opening set of 45 minutes. The Blue Note is charging $5 at the door, and stick around for Renegade Rail to see if they are indeed headed towards stardom. May 21st, 2005 - Don "Rooster" Huddleston Benefit a HUGE success... Must we keep repeating ourselves? We say it over and over, SMALL TOWNS ROCK!!! In a town as small as Auxvasse, it was amazing to see the outpour of support for one of their own in a time of need. Darren's uncle, Don "Rooster" Huddleston, suffered a stroke earlier this year, and the medical expenses began pouring in. The community organized a benefit this past weekend (Friday, May 20th) at AMVETS bar with friends, family and local businesses donating items, their time, and money for this great cause. The bar was undoubtedly the most packed place within miles! We were being swamped on stage by people who were out to have a good time. Thanks to Mr. Wilson for keeping everything in line (you da man!). At the bar alone that night we raised $2,100. Thanks again to everyone who came out in support, gave their time, and made donations. This is what it should always be about. ON ANOTHER EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE... Darren and Darrell have to give a HUGE THANKS!!! to Cole Chambers for more than sitting in on bass the entire night. With fewer than 5 hours of practice time together to prepare for the benefit, it was as if this guy had been playing with us for years. The overwhelming comment throughout the night from the fans was... "Man, that guy can fuckin' play!" We wholeheartedly agree!

WHISKEY TANGO SAYS FAREWELL TO
DONNIE SIMPSON...
After almost 6 years with Whiskey Tango, Donnie Simpson has decided
to pursue other musical avenues. Donnie provided the driving
rhythm and partial lead vocals for Whiskey Tango since its
inception. He will be missed, but we wish him all the best.
Donnie will continue with Whiskey Tango until the end of July.
Come out to any of our gigs through July to wish him the best.
March 1st, 2005 -
STANDING ROOM ONLY AT LEGEND'S...
Whiskey Tango had one of it's best
attended shows this past weekend at Legend's in Columbia.
There was standing room only at times, but it didn't seem to bother
the crowd. We got some awesome photographs compliments of
Woodman Productions.
THANKS WOODY!
We'll be posting them on the web soon! Thanks to everyone who
came out in support of our first show at Legend's. We hope to
be back soon!

January 21st, 2005 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! O.K. so we're a little late with that, but we just realized that we hadn't posted any news in the new year. Anyway... the good news is that we're almost done with a 7 song demo for the promo packs that we send to venues to get booked. It's 7 of the songs that we cover on any given night and includes "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "I Love Rock n' Roll", "Cumbersome", and "Cold Hard Bitch" to name a few. We recorded it ourselves on a digital multi-tracker and it sounds pretty good so far. We're working on the mix down, so it should be done soon. Unfortunately, this isn't something we can sell outright because it has copyrighted material, BUT, if you buy a Whiskey Tango T-shirt, we could certainly give you one for FREE when they're available. SO WHAT'S NEXT??? Well, we're hoping to get new Whiskey Tango originals recorded on the multi-tracker so we can think about putting out a second CD. We've got some material ready and parts of songs down, but it all has to come together. Hopefully our current recording progress has got us in the vibe to get the orginal material done. We'd like to see a new CD by spring! We'll keep you informed. November 22nd, 2004 - Well that was quick... we had a new member for about two practices and things just weren't progressing along as fast as we had hoped. Jesse is a great keyboardist, but unfortunately our schedule wasn't working out in getting him up to speed on our current set list, or with adding some songs that could showcase his talents, so we've parted ways. We wish him the best in finding a situation that will work better for him. In the meantime... we've been working on some new songs and they seemed to get great crowd response this past weekend at The Junction. The 38 Special cover of "Hold On Loosely" got an excellent response, as did Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". The Billy Squier tune, "Everybody Wants You" didn't fair as well, but then again, it was the first time we have played it out live, so we'll give it some time to see what the crowd reaction will be. In the hopper now is a tune by The Donnas called "Far Behind Me", and "New Girl Now" by Honeymoon Suite. We're hoping to get those added before our December 4th show at Little Woody's in Mexico. November 3rd, 2004 - Whiskey Tango Adds New Member... Well we’ve been off for a couple of weeks and what do you know we gained a new member to the band. Help us welcome Jesse Lynch as keyboardist extraordinaire! He tells us he can sing and is working on his rhythm guitar too. We’ve got him busy working on our set list, but it’s the songs that we’re going to be able to add during December and January that we’re really anxious to work on. Jesse hails from Pennsylvania originally, but currently resides in the Columbia area. We’ll have to get some photos and bio from him soon so we can post it on the website. For those of you who want to check us out next (including Jesse), we’ll be playing at The Junction on Saturday, November 20th from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Come and help us welcome Jesse to Whiskey Tango, and to what Whiskey Tango fans are all about! October 22nd, 2004 - LEGEND'S GIG CANCELLED DUE TO WORLD SERIES! Well we have some good news and bad news… the good news is that the Cardinals are in the World Series, the bad news is that the first game of the World Series is this Saturday night, and since we were suppose to be playing in a Sports Bar they are going to be televising the game. Unfortunately this means we couldn’t get in to setup until after the game ends (which would be about 10:00 p.m.). You’ve all seen how much equipment we have. Even with our best efforts we couldn’t setup in less than an hour which would mean we wouldn’t start playing until 11:00 p.m. or later. So we are sad to say that we had to cancel the gig. WE ARE TOTALLY bummed because a lot of you had indicated that you were comin’ out to see us. We apologize for the short notice, and we will reschedule a gig at Legend’s next year. Meanwhile… cheer on the Cardinals to a World Series victory! August 23rd, 2004 - New songs added to the show... Well, we've finally gotten a couple of weeks off which is allowing us to add some new songs to our set list. If you'd like to check them out simply click on the SONGS link here or above. You can see that we try to add something from just about every decade since the 70's so hopefully everyone will get to hear something that they like. Don't forget that you can always request a song or band for us to cover by filling out the online form and submitting it. We've gotten some great song ideas from you guys! March 23rd, 2004 -
Whiskey Tango hits the ComoRadio Charts!
We wanted to send a big THANKS! to everyone
who's gotten on ComoRadio and
listened to the two songs that we've posted. We're now on the ComoRadio
charts at positions 3 & 4.
Each week they rank the songs by which song was downloaded the most.
Again, we appreciate you taking the time to listen to our songs. After you've clicked on the link
above, click on the
ComoRadio link
below our logo and band bio. If you haven't been on ComoRadio before
you'll be asked to sign up to access it. Just enter your name and email
address and they'll send you a confirmation email. After you have
received the confirmation email, go back to the link above and pick the
ComoRadio link again and a Comoradio player will come up on the screen
with our two songs, Tailgunnin'
and Cut The
Mustard.
Click on one of the songs, then pick the
BIG BLUE BUTTON
to play it. When it's done, then pick the
RED arrow to go
back and select the next song, etc. February 23rd, 2004 - A BIG THANKS TO HERMANN!!! We want to send a big shout out to Hermann, MO and Simon's more importantly for welcoming us this past weekend. We had a most excellent time! We managed to make quite a few new fans, some from as far away as Kansas City. Idonna and Kim called Whiskey Tango, "A Wonderful Accident". Why? Well, they hadn't really planned to be in Hermann on Saturday night, but as luck would have it they were there and had a great time. We're gonna hold them to bringing a bunch of their friends to our gig next weekend in Chillicothe. Again, thanks to everyone, we'll see you back at Simon's on the 20th of March. February 2nd, 2004 - CELEBRITY SIGHTING AT WHISKEY TANGO GIG??? We're still trying to verify this, but it would appear that Chuck Biscuits, drummer for Black Flag, Danzig, DOA and others was at our gig last weekend at the Northside Bar in Brookfield, MO. He talked to us at length between sets, but we weren't really too familiar with him, so we really weren't quite sure it was him. Anybody out there have any photos of Chuck Biscuits? We'll let you know if we get verification on this... if so, then this is the first celebrity of sorts to attend one of our gigs. And what did he think of our performance? If we recall correctly, and we quote, "You guys came up here and threw down, you guys fuckin' rock!" At least that's how we remember it. February 1st, 2004 - CHANGES, CHANGES, CHANGES... Well, we're well into the new year now, and we've had a lot of changes in the past month. Most notably is a lineup change. For those of you who saw us during the last two months of 2003, you noticed that we were short a member. Moke decided on a career change in late October which unfortunately didn't allow him too many weekends off. Since our performance schedule is centered around weekends, it was pretty evident that things weren't going to work out. We wish him the best in his endeavors. In the meantime... we've been out as a three-piece and people are saying really good things about it. We were a little worried in the beginning that we wouldn't sound as full, but you are telling us that we sound great. We appreciate your input. We're not sure that we'll stay a three-piece as there are songs that we'd like to cover that just simply require dual guitars, but for now we're filling our gig schedule pretty rapidly with our current lineup. While we're out touring Mid-Missouri, we'll keep our eyes and ears open for the "right" replacement for Moke. MORE CHANGES... A change that we are really excited about is the launching of our very own... We were getting so many requests for T-Shirts and other merchandise that we couldn't keep up. It costs a lot of money to order T-shirts and we were running out as soon as we got them in. So, in an effort to make things a little more efficient and timely, we opened up a web store for Whiskey Tango merchandise. We'll be the first to admit that things cost a little more online because the company sets a base price to each item, but it gives our fans the availability to purchase things immediately so they're not waiting on our lame asses to get more stuff made. Another nice thing about the site is selection... we've got several different shirts, sweatshirts, tops, hats, mugs, etc. available through the online store. If you come to a gig, we usually just have our CD, some bumper stickers, and sometimes T-Shirts (if we haven't run out). The online store offers a 30-day money back guarantee for your satisfaction, and they take credit cards. You can even phone your order in if you'd like. In celebration of the online store opening, we're giving away FREE BUMPER STICKERS to anyone who shows up at one of our shows sporting Whiskey Tango merchandise that they ordered from the online store.
OLD NEWS - 2003 December 10th, 2003 - NEW YEAR'S EVE IS COMING!!! Well another year has passed and we're gearing up for our New Year's Eve celebration at Honest John's Bar & Grill in the Ramada Inn at Columbia. They have already established their packages for this event. Please click HERE for their flyer. While the prices are reasonable for a New Year's celebration PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE DID NOT SET THESE PRICES. WE ARE BEING PAID A FLAT FEE FOR OUR PERFORMANCE. We hope you'll join us for one hell of a party on New Year's Eve!!! August 20th, 2003 -
MARTINSBURG
PICNIC WAS HOT!!!
When we say hot, we mean HOT!!! We sweated
our asses off for that show, but we had a great time.
Surprisingly, most of the crowd was younger and was really into the
newer stuff that we play (i.e. 3 Doors Down, Puddle of Mudd, Creed,
etc.) We also unleashed a few new cover tunes on them. The
cover of The Ataris version of "Boys of Summer" went over really well.
Thanks to Martinsburg and the whole surrounding community for having us! May 30th, 2003 -
DANCE, AUCTION, & BENEFIT...
We have a very special performance coming up on

Whiskey Tango has been asked to play a benefit show for one of Darrell's
classmates whom has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
For those of you who are from around the Mexico, Missouri area, you may
know
Jill (Hamilton) Landreth.

shock to a lot of her friends. Even more of a misfortune is that
her husband Ron was one of the individuals who was affected by Nexans'
recent layoffs. The benefit will be held from
6:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
at
The Elk's Lodge in Mexico,
and the cost is $15 per person if having
dinner, $6 a person to participate in the
auctions and enjoy the dance.
Fundraiser events include dinner, live and
silent auctions, and the dance with Whiskey Tango performing.
Tickets can be purchased at
Darby's and Hickman's in Mexico. If making a cash donation, please make checks payable to: Kirk Ekern If you would like to help promote the benefit

July 2nd, 2002 - IT'S DONE!!! The first CD release by Whiskey Tango is COMPLETE! The new album titled "Clear The Room!" was finished on July 1st. The CD consists of 7 original songs, and we're very happy with the production ("Thanks Pete!). We now have liner notes, covers, etc. to print, but we expect to have the CD's available at our next live show, Friday & Saturday, July 12th & 13th at the Vandalia Area Fair. Soon after we will be having an "official" CD release party on August 3rd at Honest John's Bar & Grill. We will be giving away a number of CD's, T-Shirts, etc. You don't want to miss it!!! Listen to .mp3 samples from the new disc by clicking HERE.
June 24, 2002 - We wanted to thank everyone who came out to the Hallsville Heritage Days on Friday night, and also a BIG thanks to those who made it to The Junction on Saturday night. It was our first gig there, and the place was packed!!! We've already been asked back, and we'll get those dates posted as soon as they are finalized. Thanks again for all your support! June 20, 2002 - Hey everybody, we wanted to give you an update on our CD release. The recording has been going extremely well. We've got a couple more days of mixing, and a few decisions to make on the layout and cover art, but we should see the CD by the end of June. WE PROMISE!!! We want to give a special "Thanks!" to Pete Szkolka at 508 Music Studios for all of his help with the album. He's one of the best in Mid-Missouri! May 15, 2002 - Whiskey Tango is expanding its markets here in the coming months. As you know we've been playing the bar scene around Columbia and Mid-Missouri for the last two years, but this summer we're appearing in some places that should gain us some great exposure. We'll be playing at the Hallsville Heritage Days on Friday, June 21st, the Vandalia Missouri Area Fair on Friday & Saturday, July 12th & 13th, and we're looking at playing the Mexico Missouri Soybean Festival again this year on Friday, September 13th. Most of these are family oriented events, and we hope to see everyone during the summer months! And for those of you who frequent the Lake of the Ozarks, we'll be playing at the Timeout Bar on Saturday, May 23rd (Memorial Day Weekend). The Timeout Bar is located in the Gravois Mills arm of the lake, near Party Cove! Boat on over and join the party and hear some great live rock n' roll!!!
April 1, 2002 - This ain't no April Fool's Joke... Whiskey Tango IS the winner of the 2002 Battle of the Bands!!! We got the "official" word today from Tom at Honest John's that we won, and we're feeling pretty good about the amount of work that it has taken us over the past two and a half years to get to this point. Again, we must keep repeating this, it is ONLY because of our fans, friends, and family that we have gotten to this point. We appreciate your support immensely. In fact, we are talking about having a "Fan Appreciation Night" at one of our upcoming gigs. We're going to talk about it, but we'll definitely have a few T-Shirts, Signed Photos, Guitar Picks, etc. to give away. We'll let you know as soon as we've thrown something together. We'll also let you know if there is going to be some sort of official announcement about the Battle of the Bands outcome. Stay tuned... this ball is just starting to roll!!! March 25, 2002 - See the expletive from February 25 below, and TRIPLE it!!!! O.K., we'll do it for you... HOLY FUCKING SHIT, BATMAN!!! Sorry to those of you whom are religiously inclined, but if you were at the Battle of the Bands this past weekend, Saturday, March 23rd, then you'd say the same thing. We thought we were pretty cock when we "almost" set some records back on February 25th... well, we annilated those records this past weekend. Honest John's now has a new record of attendance and gross bar receipts for a single night. We haven't been given all the numbers, but we know we topped their five-year standing total gross by at least $1400. We were kickin' so much ASS that our legs are worn out. We couldn't believe the vast number of fans, friends and family that came out in support of us for this event. We owe it ALL to you!!! We couldn't have done it without you, and we know it. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to everyone who came out, or who has supported us in the past. While we can't say yet that we won the Battle of the Bands, it's going to take a miracle for the remaining bands to even come close. We'll definitely let you know when we've received the "official" word. In addition to all of this, we have essentially SOLD OUT all of our T-Shirts!!! We've got a few special orders to fill, but it looks like we'll have to have to put in yet another order. Oh yeah, one last news bite... we've been asked to perform 2 nights at the Vandalia Area Fair in July (12th & 13th). This is a major event put on every summer, and the crowd attendance reaches into the thousands, so we're pretty excited about it. Thanks to Donnie for his tireless efforts in making this happen. February 25, 2002 - Holy shit, batman! If you missed us this past weekend at Honest John's Bar & Grill, then you missed one hell of a show. We were almost breaking records all over the place. We brought in the second highest amount ever taken in at the door (second only to last years winner of the Battle of the Bands), and we were only $200 from setting the record for total gross bar receipts for a single night at Honest John's. What does all this mean? Well, it means that those who attended are some partying mutherfu**ers!!! And, it also means that Whiskey Tango owes a lot of its notoriety to our fans, friends, and family. We love everyone who supports us... you ROCK! February 21, 2002 - Well, we made some headway on the recording project this past weekend. Darren, Donnie, and Darrell all laid down their rhythm tracks for the first song, "Rhythm Take Over". Moke will get his rhythm and lead tracks done later this week, and Donnie will end it with the vocal tracks. We've already listened to what we have, and we're really excited about how it's going to sound. More updates as the occur.
February 05, 2002 - The recorder has been purchased, we're writing new material and are planning on having 7 songs for the debut CD. Some songs that we expect to put on the disc were written early on and we've been playing out live. If you've seen one of our shows, then hopefully you'll hear some of your favorites on the final disc. I know we're all excited about doing this and can't wait to get started. Eventually we hope to have a CD that we can all be proud of.
